Clearwater Island Fishing Lodge has played host to all the InfoLink IT team from the Gold Coast. This has to be Australia’s best fishing location. I could not believe the amount of Barramundi we caught and released.

Michael and the Clearwater team have been the perfect hosts and guides, these guys know the Barra and bluewater fishing experience better than anybody. As a keen angler I have fished some great fishing locations throughout Australia and the world and this place is tops stated Brad, and after landing a 1.47 metre Barramundi a new record for the Tiwi Islands. I was shocked when Dave our guide for the day carefully measured this big beautiful fish and let go with a huge Oh yeah baby that’s a new record. I nearly shit myself.

I have some friends that recenty visited one of the other fishing lodges on Melville Island and they had a really bad time sure they caught some fish but they felt the fishing experience was far from and adventure it was not personal it was very clinical and way to serious they said. So I was unsure at first what my Barra fishing experience would be like, “Shit Hot” best describes the whole experience,so far. From the time you rise you get a beautiful breakfast, packed lunches, cold drinks, and then to top the whole fishing day off you get the best 3 course sunset evening meal served to you each night. I have to say I have never eaten better food in my entire life, sorry mum but these guys know how to turn on the complete package and adventure.
