Montezuma’s Restaurants Gold Coast Bad Food Service and Rude Staff. It’s just not good enough.
As a Gold Coast local I have to voice so much disappointment in what I can only say is a total disgust in the Montezuma restaurant chain. I always recognised Montezuma’s as a true Gold Coast iconic business that over the years have expanded Australia wide.
I can only say that the expansion will soon decline if they continue with the poor service, and food quality that they now display not only through their flagship restaurant at Burleigh Heads that my wife and myself once frequented two to three times per week, but because we were so unhappy with Burleigh Heads we decided to go to another Montezuma’s restaurants last Wednesday on the 21st of October 2009 we went to the Montezuma’s Coolangatta restaurant we ordered a large San Antonio Nachos a small salad and meatballs. I could not believe it when our large nachos was served and it had 12 corn chips on the plate a really thin layer of beans and topped with a scraping of salsa, I asked the waitress if this was right and got told yes the large Nachos only comes with 12 corn chips now, I voiced my concerns that this worked out at around $1 per corn chip, she went and spoke to the chef and came back and said that is the way the Nachos now comes, I replied you have now lost us. What really surprised me is the level of care the Montezuma’s staff shows to their patrons they just do not care especially the way they treat Gold Coast locals who patronise in the bad times as well as good. I shudder to think how many thousands of dollars I have spent with the Montezuma’s change since the early 80’s.
My wife and I will no longer spend money at any Montezuma’s and that’s a shame because director Paul Ryan has spent years of his life attempting to build a reputation around his brand, well Paul my advice to you is get back out in the trenches and fire up your troops because honestly your Montezuma chain needs some serious work especially with your restaurant chains staff, they are rude and your food levels of service are inconsistent. And as the leader of your company when you receive letters from your long term clients and you say you are going to get back to them do so. I know longer have any faith in your restaurant chains or you Paul. We will stick to Aztecs or Panchos Mexican Restaurants from now on.
My name is Paul Klerck the director of Info Link IT I run more than 2000 of my own websites and manage of 1600 client websites and quite candidly I have had enough of bad service and second rate business operators if you have been ripped off, rorted had a bad food, retail, building or banking experience tell us about it at www.complaints.org.au finally we give Australians a chance to fight back against unfair and bad service.
